With three different base models, ETERNUS DX60 entry level disk storage systems can either connect to hosts via Fibre Channel, iSCSI or SAS.
ETERNUS DX60 are easy to install, configure, operate and maintain, integrating well with host operating systems, servers, network infrastructures and backup solutions. ETERNUS DX60 is a Different drive types can be mixed and matched, secured by the relevant monitored RAID levels (0, 1, 5, 1+0, 5+0 and 6) and features to ensure data integrity. Administrators can dynamically move data, spin disks down to save energy or encrypt disks to prevent unauthorized access. This ETERNUS DX60 is energy saving storage device can be scaled from 600 GB to 24 TB and is equipped with all state-of-the-art capacities of high-performance SAS and large capacity Nearline SAS Disks.

The standard system is delivered with 8 snapshots and can be extended to 512 snapshots. The ETERNUS DX60 is equiped with either four 4 Gbit/s Fibre Channel, 1 Gbit/s iSCSI or 3 Gbit/s SAS host ports on two controllers with overall 2 GB cache. The Fibre Channel or iSCSI model can connect up to 64 servers in SAN mode.
